How much commission should a SaaS affiliate program pay?
Most software businesses pay 20 to 30% of each payment for 12 months, or for as long as the customer stays. Higher rates attract stronger affiliates. Lifetime commission is the strongest pull if your customers stay a long time.
Do I need affiliate tracking software as well?
No. ThreeCommas tracks sales through promo codes, registered leads or territories using your Stripe data, works out the commission on each payment, and pays the affiliate.
What if a customer gets a refund?
Commission is held for 30 days before it can be paid. If a refund comes later, the commission is taken back from the affiliate's next payout automatically.
