What is ThreeCommas, in one sentence?
A place where online businesses find people who can bring them customers, and pay those people a share of every sale they bring in.
Who is it for?
Businesses that sell online, usually software or subscriptions, and anyone who can introduce them to buyers: salespeople, consultants, agencies, newsletter writers, creators and well-connected people with a network.
Why should I trust the numbers on a business's page?
Because the business does not type them in. They come straight from the account the business uses to take payments, and we update them automatically. A business cannot make its sales look bigger than they are.
For businesses
Can ThreeCommas take money from my account or change anything?
No. You connect your payment account in view-only mode. We can see sales numbers, but we cannot move money, refund customers or change any setting. You can disconnect at any time.
Which payment accounts work?
Stripe, today. If you take payments with Stripe, connecting takes about a minute and we show you step by step what to click.
How long until my page is live?
Most businesses are live in under three minutes: add your website, connect your payment account, and choose a plan.
Can I keep some numbers private?
Yes. You choose what is public, what only signed-in people see, and what only your partners see. You can show your sales as a range instead of an exact figure, or list your business anonymously.
What if a partner claims a customer I already had?
We check every customer a partner registers against the ones you already have, and you approve or reject each one. If you do nothing for 7 days, it is approved.
Can I stop working with a partner?
Yes, any time. Customers they already brought you keep earning them their share for the period you agreed up front, so nobody is surprised.
For partners
Does it cost anything to be a partner?
No. Signing up, applying and working with businesses is free. When you earn, ThreeCommas keeps 10% of your share, and you see that on every payment.
How do I know I will get credit for a customer?
Before you start, you and the business agree in writing how a customer counts as yours, for example by using your personal discount code or by registering them with us first. Every time you earn, you can see which customer paid. If something looks wrong, you can raise it and our team reviews it.
When do I get paid?
Earnings wait 30 days in case the customer asks for a refund. After that, the business is billed at the start of the month, and you are paid every Monday once you have at least USD 50.
Can I be paid in my country?
Yes, wherever you live. Most people are paid straight to their bank; we can also pay by Wise or PayPal.
Money
What does it cost?
Businesses pay USD 20 a month per listing, plus 10% of what they pay their partners. Partners pay nothing to join.
What if a customer gets a refund?
If the refund happens in the first 30 days, the partner's share for that payment is reduced or cancelled. If it happens later, the difference comes off the next payout. Everyone sees exactly what changed.
What if a business does not pay?
We try their card again several times. If they are 14 days late, their listings pause and their partners are told, until they pay.
Safety and privacy
What do you keep about my customers?
Only what we need to count sales: amounts, dates, currency and country. Your customers' names and addresses stay in your own account.
How is my information protected?
Anything sensitive, like account access or bank details, is encrypted with bank-grade security and is never shown again, even to us in day-to-day work.
How do I disconnect?
One click on the Connections page. We stop looking at your account straight away.
